Dennis's 100% Grass-Fed, Barbecue Short Ribs

Use as many short ribs as you can fit into a crock pot or covered oven-proof pot. Add water to cover them and season with salt and pepper. Cook on the stovetop, in the crockpot, or in the oven until tender—up to 8 hours at lower temperatures (200-250) or 3-4 hours at higher temperatures (350-375). Check for tenderness by pulling some of the meat off the bone. If it comes off easily, it is done.

Pour the water off and let cool slightly. Using a tongs, lay the ribs out in a pan and drizzle barbecue sauce over the top of them. Place them in a preheated oven (350 degrees) for about 30 minutes.

Serve with lots of napkins.
